LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The moment finally came for the Vegas Golden Knights to receive their highly anticipated bling.
On Sunday, the announcement was made on X, formally known as Twitter, that the Golden Knights received their 2023 Stanley Cup championship rings during a special dinner.
Jason of Beverly Hills, the ring designer, gave a few of the details behind the design.
According to the designer, the six stars on the banner located on the left side of the ring symbolize VGK’s victory during their sixth season.
Another meaningful detail is included inside of the ring.
Jason of Beverly Hills designed the ring to have a detachable top that can be worn as a pendant. When the top is detached, a miniature T-Mobile Arena is unveiled with the location of all nine goals scored during cup-clinching Game 5.
Our Golden Knights will take the ice for the home opener against the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday, Oct. 10. That is also when they will officially raise the championship banner in the rafters of T-Mobile Arena.
