TRACY — Four people were arrested and four others were sought after a jewelry store at the West Valley Mall in Tracy was robbed, police said Thursday.

The store was Don Roberto Jewelers. The Tracy Police Department said the suspects, after robbing the store of approximately $100,000 worth of items, exited through a back door of the mall and then crashed in their escape vehicle.

The suspects were not being pursued by law enforcement when they crashed, but four people were later detained when authorities responded to search the area. The other four suspects were able to get away.

The four arrested were identified by Tracy police as Bay Point resident Trevion Williams, 21, Hayward resident Jamary Barnes, 23, Richmond resident Jayden Barnes, 19, and Antioch resident Eric Anderson, 21.

All four have been booked into the San Joaquin County Jail and face charges of organized retail theft, conspiracy and robbery.

A store employee told CBS13 that no employees were injured during the robbery.

Tracy police urge the public to avoid North Corral Hollow Road between West Grant Line Road and West Larch Road.
